We are working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Northampton that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their team from June or September 2026. The Role:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
* KS5 teaching opportunities may also be available
* Inspire curiosity and critical thinking about people, places, and environments
* Use creative teaching approaches to bring topics such as climate change, sustainability, urbanisation, and ecosystems to life
* Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to support students of all abilities
* Monitor progress through effective feedback and assessment strategies
* Contribute to wider school life through enrichment activities, fieldwork, and departmental initiatives
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
* A Geography specialist with strong subject knowledge
* Confident, engaging, and positive classroom presence
* Passionate about teaching and student achievement
* Reflective and adaptable approach to learning and development
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Committed to inclusion, high expectations, and raising attainment
