The position would suit someone with agricultural or groundworks experience to assist the technical team at drill sites and workshops across Cornwall. Under the direction of the lead technician, the following tasks will be carried out:
1. Upkeep of site equipment and machines
2. Maintenance inspections of equipment for suitability to operate
3. On-site breakdown support
4. Ongoing improvement projects
5. Building maintenance and repairs
6. Moving of site equipment with telehandler/loader
7. Loading/unloading of deliveries with forklift
8. Assist drill site operations with machinery operation
9. Operation of agricultural equipment (Telehandler/tractor loader)
10. Trailer haulage experience (bale/corn/dung cart)
11. Mechanical knowledge of generators/machines
12. Maintenance knowledge of machinery
13. Experience of pumps/motors fitting and maintenance
14. Knowledge of chemical handling/COSHH
15. First Aid
16. Water hydraulics and piping/hose hook-up and layout
This is a physically demanding position and requires a good level of fitness. A valid UK driving licence is required.
