My client who I have worked closely with for many years is seeking a Import & Export Coordinator to join their friendly and established team.
Job Summary
The main purpose of this role is to assist the Manager in the smooth running of the Export/Import department. While the role is predominantly import orientated, a degree of flexibility will be required to assist other members of the team arranging export shipments and any relevant duties that might arise. On a day-to-day basis you will be expected to arrange import shipments from start to finish, liaise with our nominated customs broker, issue clearance instructions as and keep accurate records for auditing purposes.
Main duties/responsibilities
Responsible for processing and progressing export customer orders, enquiries and quotations.
Creating export shipping documents using Formwise worldwide.
Organising paperwork for imported products worldwide.
