About the Role
As Website Developer/Manager, you will be a key technical expert within Bauer Create. You'll oversee the development, maintenance, and optimisation of Bauer's commercial website portfolio—including flagship sites such as You will also lead a major migration project to move Bauer's client websites to a full‑service hosting provider, ensuring stability, quality, and zero downtime. This role combines hands‑on coding with cross‑functional collaboration and operational ownership.
Responsibilities
* Lead ongoing development and optimisation of Bauer's WordPress websites, ensuring strong performance, responsiveness, and security.
* Manage the end‑to‑end migration of the client website portfolio to a full‑service hosting provider, ensuring smooth delivery and data integrity.
* Provide maintenance, troubleshooting, updates, and technical support across all client websites.
* Act as a technical advisor to sales teams, supporting the scoping and delivery of new client website projects.
* Use AI tools to streamline debugging, content migration, and routine development tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Proven experience in WordPress development, including PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and version control tools.
* Strong understanding of hosting environments, DNS management, SSL, Core Web Vitals, and SEO principles.
* Ability to support commercially driven projects and contribute to revenue growth through high‑quality technical delivery.
* Experience providing technical guidance to clients and internal teams, with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
* Strong organisational abilities and experience managing large‑scale website migrations.
* Comfortable using project management systems (such as ) and AI‑based development tools.
