The Role: Outdoor Education Teacher, Leicester As our Outdoor Education Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging, practical, and hands-on sessions in an outdoor environment. You will be responsible for providing a curriculum that not only teaches practical skills but also builds confidence, teamwork, and resilience in students who have struggled in a traditional classroom setting.. Key responsibilities include: Lesson Delivery: Planning and leading a variety of outdoor education activities (e.g., bushcraft, navigation, team-building exercises). Skills Development: Teaching practical skills while fostering students' social, emotional, and personal growth. Well-being: Using the therapeutic benefits of nature to improve students' mental health and self-esteem. Risk Management: Ensuring all activities are conducted safely and in line with risk assessments.
