As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: Delivering pre-planned lessons across various subjects in the absence of the class teacher. Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment. Engaging students with lesson content and maintaining their focus on tasks. Following school policies on behaviour, attendance, and safeguarding. Providing feedback to teaching staff on pupil engagement and progress. To be successful as a Cover Supervisor, you should: Have experience working with young people, ideally within a school setting. Be confident in managing classroom behaviour and adapting to different year groups. Possess strong organisational and communication skills. Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one. Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment over the last 10 years.
