Operations Assistant Our client, based in Spalding, is continuing to grow and is looking to recruit an Operations Assistant to join their established team. The successful candidate will support the smooth day-to-day running of operations, ensuring processes are completed efficiently, accurately, and to a high standard. The role will involve working closely with different departments and supporting operational requirements across the business. Key Responsibilities Manage the hire and return of operational equipment. Work alongside stock controllers to monitor stock levels and maintain operational efficiency. Monitor packaging and component stock levels, assisting with forecasting where required. Process customer orders and create accurate pick and pack instructions using internal systems. Carry out spot checks to ensure procedures and operational standards are maintained. Maintain storage areas and ensure stock is stored and managed correctly. Build strong working relationships with site teams to support smooth operations and resolve issues. Record damages and wastage, identifying trends where appropriate. Support testing and maintenance of internal systems and report discrepancies when identified. Liaise with departments including Commercial, Technical, Product Development, and Accounts. Provide additional support during busy and seasonal periods when required. Skills & Experience The ideal candidate will: Have previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, or operations environment. Ideally have experience using picking, dispatch, or stock control systems. Be confident using Excel and quick to learn new systems. Have excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal. Be flexible and willing to support different areas of the operation. Be willing to work additional hours during peak periods, including occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime when required.
