Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative and 7.5T Relief Driver for our client - A UK leading supplier of janitorial, cleaning, and hygiene products.
Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives and 7.5T Relief Drivers in Castleford.
The rate of pay is £28,953 per annum.
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, and the hours of work are:
- 7:30am to 5pm
Your Time at Work
This is a varied role - for 80% of the time, you will be in the warehouse - the remainder of the time you will be out driving our 7.5T vehicles delivering to our customers
The main part of the role in the warehouse will be to place goods into storage, pick stock, consolidate orders, and assist in the loading of vehicles
Key Responsibilities for the role:
- Discharge duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant legislation and Bunzl EHS policies.
- Use all equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices.
- Ensure the warehouse and yard are kept clean and tidy at all times, that spillages are promptly cleared and waste minimised.
- Receive goods and check into the warehouse accurately.
- Place goods correctly into storage bays. Ensure that stock is stored to allow safe storage, lifting, and lowering
- Assist in loading vehicles, working with the driver to ensure compliance with all legal requirements on vehicle loading
- When needed, driving a 7.5T vehicle, delivering to our customers, and ensuring first-class customer service
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have the following skills:
- Full clean driving license, preferably with C1
- Previous warehousing experience is desirable
- FLT licence
- Enthusiastic and highly driven individual
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions of management, and respond to requests from others in the team in a helpful manner
