Position: Experienced Waiter with Wine Knowledge
Key Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
Provide exceptional table service by taking orders, serving food, and suggesting wines from over 450 lines from 18 countries.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of our wine offerings and assist guests in making informed wine choices.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring the dining area is tidy and set up appropriately.
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
Upsell wine options and promote special offerings to enhance the guest experience.
Process payments accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a waiter in a high-quality dining establishment.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of wines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Impeccable grooming and presentation.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
