On behalf of our client based in the Coalisland area, we are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Strategic Warehouse & Supply Chain Coordinator to lead and optimise their internal warehouse operations. This role is responsible for overseeing stock management, production scheduling, inventory control, and contributing to broader supply chain planning to ensure operational excellence and alignment with business goals. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Stock Management: Oversee and refine stock control processes, ensuring accurate tracking, optimal stock levels, and timely replenishment in line with production and sales forecasts. Inventory Control: Implement and manage inventory systems to reduce waste, improve accuracy, and enhance visibility of stock movements. Conduct regular audits and stocktakes. Production Scheduling: Work closely with production teams to develop and adjust schedules based on demand, inventory availability, and resource capacity. Ensure seamless coordination between warehouse and manufacturing. Warehouse Operations Leadership: Manage daily operations within the warehouse, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch. Lead and develop a team of warehouse staff to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance internal warehouse processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support company growth. Supply Chain Support: Work closely with procurement and logistics to ensure inbound and outbound supply chain activities align with warehouse capabilities and production needs. Reporting and KPIs: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across stock levels, order fulfilment, and operational efficiency. Produce regular reports and data analysis to support strategic decision-making. Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong understanding of stock and inventory control methodologies. Experience with production scheduling and workflow optimisation. Solid knowledge of ERP or WMS systems. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to analyse data, generate insights, and drive process improvements. Strategic mindset with the ability to align warehouse operations with wider business goals. Desirable: Formal qualifications in supply chain, logistics, operations, or related fields.
