About the job:
1. Manage the export process from start to finish;
2. Use the most appropriate method of communication when being the first point of contact for all customers;
3. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key customers to develop more business opportunities;
4. Liaise with customers to obtain information to ensure correct measures are in place and all customer needs are met;
5. Liaise with Customers, Custom and Operations’ Departments ensuring all documents are received within the designated time frame;
6. Organise and distribute on-hand reports to clients within the required timeframe;
7. Obtain all necessary information to ensure correct measures are in place and customer needs are met;
8. Liaise between Suppliers, Forwarders and agents to obtain up to date shipment information;
9. Ensure customers are fully informed of the progress of their shipments;
10. Provide transport companies with the relevant information to ensure customer delivery requirements are met;
11. Ensure correct documentation is on file and act accordingly as set out in the instructions;
12. Complete export documentation and invoicing within the required timeframe;
13. Any other duties as required by management for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
14. Work with the operations team to continually improve processes and business performance;
15. Support changes in the role necessary to take the department and business forward; and
16. Work to achieve personal objectives set at appraisal and/or those set monthly or quarterly.
17. Achieve agreed individual objectives; and
18. Understand and adhere to all Woodland policies and procedures relevant to the role.
About you:
Previous experience as an Export Coordinator is essential for this position.
