Watkins is a family owned Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing contractor located in the Southeast, the company has now been trading over 60 years.
ROLE:
We are looking for someone with a natural energy and enthusiasm to be part of our commercial finance team, who is down-to-earth with excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills and has the ability to maintain financial procedures and have proven administrative capabilities.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a finance role and be able to demonstrate that you can work productively & effectively to deadlines and have a flexible working approach.
Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and taking ownership of tasks
REQUIREMENTS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Experience of processing invoices within an accounts receivable capacity
· Experience of credit control
· Experience of using accounting software, ideally Evision.
· Excellent oral, written communications skills as well as supreme attention to detail
· Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with multiple competing deadlines
· Efficient in using office software packages, including Microsoft Office
Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break = 37.5hrs with 25 Days paid annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
