Key Responsibilities
Act as the company’s Electrical Qualifying Supervisor within the building services sector, ensuring full compliance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) across all projects.
Oversee electrical testing, inspection, and certification on multiple concurrent projects, including commercial, retail, and office developments.
Take responsibility for the sign-off of electrical installations, test results, and statutory compliance documentation.
Manage and coordinate testing engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors across numerous sites.
Plan, programme, and supervise initial verification, periodic inspections, and remedial works in live environments.
Review electrical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance prior to installation and testing.
Ensure all electrical works meet client, consultant, and regulatory requirements, including NICEIC / NAPIT standards.
Maintain and control accurate project documentation including EICs, EICRs, Minor Works Certificates, O&M manuals, and test reports.
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and competency oversight to site teams and apprentices.
Carry out regular site inspections and technical audits, identifying non-compliances and driving corrective actions.
Liaise with clients, project managers, main contractors, consultants, and local authorities on all electrical compliance matters.
Ensure strict adherence to health & safety legislation, RAMS, and company procedures across all sites.
Support pre-construction and tender stages by providing technical input, testing strategies, and compliance advice.
Keep up to date with changes to electrical legislation, standards, and best practice, implementing updates across the business.

Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
1-hour lunch break
