Happy Days Nursery in Weston-Super-Mare, England, United Kingdom are seeking a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team.
What Will You Be Doing
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early experiences of children in our care. You will be responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and enriching environment that fosters children’s development from birth to 5 years. If you’re Level 3 qualified, your passion for childcare, creativity, and dedication will make you an essential part of our team. A pivotal part of the role is planning and implementing engaging learning opportunities for a group of key children, ensuring their interests and developmental stages are catered to, while also ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care. You will work within a team to maintain a clean, safe and organised nursery, with the best interests of children and families at heart. You will communicate effectively with families, creating professional relationships and keeping them informed about their child’s progress and wellbeing.
Who We're Looking For
Our ideal Nursery Practitioner will be Level 3 qualified with a full and relevant early years or childcare qualification and will have a demonstrated passion for making a difference in the sector. A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and how to implement it with a group of key children is vital, along with the ability to plan meaningful and educational activities. Safeguarding children is of utmost importance, so you will show a strong commitment to wellbeing and safeguarding. Experience forming positive relationships through communication with children, parents and families is essential; while nursery experience is advantageous, all qualified candidates will be considered.
