The Securities Finance desk manages the lending and borrowing of securities to optimise liquidity, generate revenue and support trading and settlement needs. The desk plays an important role in market making, collateral management and balance optimisation.
In this, interim role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to the Global Head of Securities Finance, help define objectives, track performance, and support decision-making across the platform. You’ll work closely with the Global Funding Hub for Markets to establish and maintain metrics related to financial resource usage, including funding costs, internal pricing, and resource allocation

The difference you’ll make:
1. Developing and maintaining dashboards and KPIs to monitor business performance across products, regions, and client segments
2. Monitoring and interpreting capital usage, balance sheet efficiency, and liquidity metrics to support business optimisation and regulatory compliance
3. Leading and supporting annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
4. Driving and supporting key transformation initiatives, including automation, regulatory change, and product development
5. Preparing high-quality presentations and briefing materials for senior management and governance forums
6. Interacting with senior stakeholders across Global Markets, Risk, and Infrastructure to ensure business priorities are understood and supported
7. Contributing to US regulatory initiatives including mandatory clearing and the T+ settlement project, ensuring business readiness and alignment with global infrastructure
What you’ll bring:
These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:
8. Proven experience in a Business or Project Management role within a Global Markets environment
9. Working knowledge of Financial Markets and related products especially Repurchase Agreements (repos)
10. Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualisation tools
11. Well-developed communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
It would also be nice for you to have:
12. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks impacting Securities Finance such as, SFTR, Basel III, CSDR
13. Experience with Business Objects, MetricStream, or similar reporting platforms
14. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a global, matrixed organisation
15. Experience working with senior stakeholders and presenting to executive committees

This role is based at our offices in Triton Square, London located within easy walking distance from Warren Street and Euston.
