A well-established 11–18 school serving the Walker community in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join its supportive and inclusive team immediately.

The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
* Support pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning needs
* Assist pupils to access mainstream lessons with confidence
* Work with teachers to adapt resources and scaffold learning
* Deliver targeted support in literacy or numeracy where required
* Help maintain calm, purposeful classroom environments
You will support pupils academically and socially across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them build confidence and independence.

* £90 – £110 per day (PAYE only — no umbrella deductions)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
