<div><h3>Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL)</h3></br><p>The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) will assist the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in all matters of safeguarding and child protection across the school. They will take part in strategy discussions, inter-agency meetings, and contribute to the assessment and support of children. They will advise and support other staff members on child welfare and protection matters, and will liaise with relevant agencies such as the local authority, police, and health partners.</p></br><p>Qualifications:</p></br><ul></br><li>GCSE/NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent in English and Maths.</li></br><li>Experience of working with children or young adults in an educational setting.</li></br><li>Experience of liaising with external agencies and professionals on child protection matters.</li></br><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across challenging issues and interact with parents/carers, scholars, staff and the wider community.</li></br></ul></br><p>EEO Statement:</p></br><p>The David Ross Education Trust is an equal opportunity employer.
