Job Responsibilities
* Understand intended training roles and connect training content to onboarding and development activities of trainees.
* Support design, development, deployment, and administration of training programs that align with internal business objectives.
* Lead needs assessments with various teams to define training plans with clear learning objectives.
* Establish a systematic approach to learning; design, develop, and deploy value-added training solutions based on problem solving.
* Design and develop comprehensive curriculums using adult learning theory; oversee content development; manage projects and vendors; measure learning effectiveness and process efficiency; engage stakeholders and learners.
* Manage external vendors and developers when needed; partner with CTLT colleagues and SMEs to conduct learning needs assessments.
* Define measures to assess, monitor, and report on training effectiveness and opportunities for improvement.
* Provide guidance and co-create or design plans for training materials, participant guides, facilitator guides, job aids, and evaluation strategies.
* Manage multiple learning projects and potentially lead internal or external learning teams.
* Stay current with industry trends, training design innovations, evaluation processes, and technologies.
* Coach and mentor peers in adult learning principles and training strategies; foster a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or Education). Master’s degree preferred.
* Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in training, education, or design and development.
* Healthcare industry experience preferred (Pharmaceutical, MedTech, Consumer).
* Experience with organizational change management and leading large-scale training initiatives.
* Experience with e-learning, virtual, or mobile delivery methods.
* Strong knowledge of instructional theories for online and instructor-led learning; familiarity with ADDIE and SAM models; LMS and SCORM knowledge preferred.
* Proficiency with content authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Camtasia) and Microsoft Office.
* Vendor management, project management, and strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to collaborate across a matrix organization; up to 10% travel.
