We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Design & Technology Technician, primarily to support our woodwork lessons, helping to facilitate high-quality teaching within a friendly, successful, and well-resourced Technology Department. The ideal candidate will be hardworking and flexible, with the ability to manage a variety of tasks efficiently. Key responsibilities include: To support DT; RMT and Product Design lessons. Maintaining and managing stocks and components of timber, polymers and metal materials. Ordering and maintaining machinery and equipment in the workshops. Experience in cutting timbers and using machines in the workshops. Desirable experience; Using CAD/CAM processes, laser cutter and 3D printers.
