What is the opportunity?
We have an excellent opportunity for a Wealth Paraplanner to join our team in Birmingham. As a Paraplanner, you will have a broad understanding of core Financial Planning solutions and will develop your knowledge through exposure to client planning scenarios. Your role involves analysing clients' aims and needs to construct solutions that support advisors in communicating effectively with clients.
What will you do?
1. Provide appropriate support for Financial Advisers/Financial Planners.
2. Facilitate the smooth processing of new and existing business.
3. Liaise with administrative support teams.
4. Assist in monitoring the performance and work throughput of administrative support to ensure standards and deadlines are met.
5. Understand and comply with applicable regulations, principles, RBCBD policies, and procedures.
6. Adhere to Conduct Risk standards.
7. Develop a broad understanding of core Financial Planning solutions and expand knowledge through client planning scenarios.
8. Analyze clients' aims and needs to construct solutions for communication to clients by advisors.
9. Assist in the production of robust financial plans and analytical information under supervision of senior team members.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
* CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
* Previous experience as a Paraplanner.
* Accuracy, numeracy, and attention to detail.
* Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines within restricted timescales.
Nice-to-have
* Working towards CII Level 6 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
