Our client is a well-established manufacturing firm who have been around for over 50 years, they have a family friendly feel with events for the staff and an excellent staff retention rate. The role
The day to day duties of the role are as a CNC Turner you will be involved in programming, setting and operating the lathes with HAAS or FANUC controls. It will require inspection of the components.
Pay/Shifts/Perks
The role is on a permanent day shift with an early finish on a Friday.
Pay is between £16 and £20 per hour with it depending on your level of programming experience
The firm can offer excellent training with different control systems.
What is required from you?
* Be available to work permanent days and be flexible with overtime if need
* Experience of setting/operating and programming using HAAS or FANUC although other controls will be considered
* Experience of Inspecting your own work using Mechanical inspection equipment
* Be happy to do batch work and one offs
* Apprentice trained qualified machinists
* Be an experienced CNC Turner
