Senior Counsel
We are seeking a dedicated lawyer to join the Aviva Investors Private Markets legal team as a senior counsel to support our growth strategy.
About the role:
The role focuses on infrastructure investment, involving work on debt and leveraged equity transactions. Experience in cross-border infrastructure and project finance, with familiarity in both finance and corporate aspects, is essential. The candidate should have a strong interest and ability to quickly understand various debt finance and leveraged equity transactions. This role offers variety and the opportunity to work with a team of professionals, building relationships with internal clients and external advisers.
Required skills and experience:
* Senior lawyer with extensive relevant post-qualifying experience, from a leading firm or financial institution
* Experience in UK and European infrastructure finance and equity transactions
* Proven problem-solving skills with a creative and innovative approach
* Ability to manage external counsel on large, complex transactions, controlling external costs and supporting deal execution
