Project Engineer (Progression into Management)

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + circa 10%-15% Profit Bonus + Progression into Management + Training Opportunities + Flexible Hours + Hybrid Working + Private Medical + Pension + Holiday.
Are you experienced in setting up manufacturing/production lines and seeking to join a well-recognized FMCG manufacturing company? This highly autonomous role involves working with new state-of-the-art machinery, with excellent training provided to help you progress into management and contribute significantly to the company's success.
The company is a part of a global leader manufacturing a range of products worldwide. They are expanding and seek a process-driven engineer ready to grow into a leadership role.
In this role, you will be involved in the continuous development, implementation, and improvement of manufacturing equipment and production lines, collaborating with R&D teams to foster innovation. You will also test and optimize machine parameters to develop efficient processes.
This position suits candidates with experience in implementing new machinery and production lines, such as Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, or Senior Maintenance Engineer.
The Role:
* Monday - Friday, with flexible start and finish times
* Hybrid work environment (office and home)
* Leading a small process development team (4 direct reports)
* Managing projects related to process enhancement, equipment upgrades, and new production line implementation
* Testing and defining optimal machine parameters
The Person:
* Experience as a Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, or similar
* Proven experience in implementing new machinery and production lines
