PRINCIPAL ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH OFFICER - PART TIME
Salary details: £48,710 - £51,802
We are looking for an experienced Environmental Health Officer to act as a Lead Food Officer at Hull City Council. If you are looking for a step up in your career within Environmental Health and would like to be part of a busy food team working with a wide variety of commercial and retail food businesses, then this opportunity may be just the challenge you are looking for.
Your role will be focussed on ensuring that excellent regulatory and advisory services are provided for the food businesses based within our City. You will be closely involved with the usual environmental health functions of infectious diseases work, food complaints, advice to new food businesses, together with approvals of food businesses and inspection of food premises.
As an experienced practitioner you will be expected to lead on the more complex cases dealt with by the authority and provide appropriate support to other officers in the team.
