Job Description:

FB Comms is a Social Media Agency that creates scroll-stopping content, the type you can’t forget and actually want to engage with. We do this through social media management, paid social ads, blogs, email marketing and training.

PLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION: ANY APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THE MINIMUM SCREENING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS WILL RECEIVE AN AUTO-REJECTION.

Our Mission: Producing compelling content with a service that stands out.

Our Values:

* Fun: Marketing can be boring. We want clients to enjoy working with us and enjoy the work we do with a sense of humour.
* Learning: Continual training and development to stay on top of trends.
* Creativity: Coming up with innovative ideas and expressing them confidently.

As a multi-award-winning northern team with a global client base, we focus on creating authentic UGC-style content. We are looking to expand our team.

What this job can offer you:

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace the challenges of an early-stage start-up, then this opportunity may be for you!

Reporting to the Founder, the Social Media Manager will handle B2B and B2C marketing initiatives, focusing on strategic accounts. You will work in a small but dynamic team, developing content plans and strategies with a focus on creative execution and community management.

Your expertise in Social Media Marketing will contribute to our clients' success and our agency's growth.

This is what your weekly tasks will include:

* 10% Live posting and scheduling
* 20% Community management
* 5% Client management and meetings
* 20% Content creation - copywriting
* 30% Content creation - collaborating with creators, videographers, and graphic designers using templates
* 10% Strategy creation and research
* 5% Reporting

The annual salary ranges from £30,000 to £36,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Why you might not be excited by us (or, be here for the challenge):

* We are a small, fast-moving agency where everyone contributes and pushes standards.
* There’s no safety net—trust and ownership are key.
* You’ll face constant challenges: evolving platforms, trends, quick turnarounds, and demanding clients.
* We focus on making better content, not just delivering what’s asked. Pitching new ideas and challenging briefs are part of the job.
* Proactivity and self-learning are essential; we provide support but expect initiative.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

* 3+ years’ agency experience managing social media campaigns and clients.
* Excellent knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
* Strong, compelling copywriting skills.
* Proven track record of growing social accounts and communities.
* Confidence in multi-channel strategies, reporting, and client communication.
* Understanding of UGC and short-form video best practices.
* Experience with tools like Meta Business Suite, TikTok Studio, Google Analytics, Canva, Figma, etc.
* Ability to stay calm, organized, and creative under pressure.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Leading strategic development and execution across multiple platforms for B2B and B2C clients.
* Planning campaigns and content with clear objectives and creative angles.
* Collaborating with the team to build brands and not just followers.
* Briefing creators, videographers, and designers to execute strategies.

Content Creation & Execution:

* Writing engaging, concise, social-first copy in various brand voices.
* Working across video, graphics, and UGC, briefing, scripting, and editing content.
* Acting quickly on trends with an informed approach.

Community & Channel Management:

* Managing daily posting, responding, and reporting with purpose.
* Building engaged communities, not just posting and hoping.
* Handling community issues professionally.

Client Management:

* Conducting regular check-ins, responding to feedback, and demonstrating results.
* Presenting data-driven reports and recommendations.

Reporting & Analytics:

* Tracking key metrics like engagement and conversions.
* Analyzing content performance and optimizing strategies.
* Using tools like Meta, Google Analytics, and paid reporting for insights.
* Taking ownership of work and outcomes, with accountability and solutions.

We invest in you:

* Hybrid working (remote in the UK or Leeds office)
* Latest Apple tech
* 28 days annual leave + birthday leave
* Overseas working policy
* £1000 yearly budget for learning and training
* Team socials

Application process:

* Talent Call: 15-minute call with Fiona about the role and your background.
* Pre-interview Task: Creative task to showcase your skills (up to an hour).
* Final Interview: 45-60 minute in-person meeting with Fiona, with Q&A.
* Paid Trial: Optional paid trial to assess your work.

Equal employment opportunity:

FB Comms values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, age, disability, or other protected characteristics.
