Mental Health Advisor Location: Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne Available hours: 20 or 30 hours per week Shift pattern: 24/7 rota including days, nights, and weekends (enhancements paid for unsocial hours) This role is not eligible for sponsorship as is does not meet the requirements as set out by the UK Visa and Immigration Service We’re excited to be recruiting part-time Mental Health Advisors to join our NHS 111 Option 2 Service based in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne! As a Mental Health Advisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for individuals experiencing mental health distress or crisis, providing calm, compassionate, and expert support when it’s needed most. You’ll deliver high-quality support via both telephone and text, helping people feel heard, reassured, and safe. In this role, you will: Handle calls for the North Yorkshire, York and Selby NHS 111 Option 2 service Provide responsive text-based support to residents in the South London and Maudsley region Work in a fast-paced, supportive environment where your work has real impact every day If you’re empathetic, resilient, and passionate about supporting others, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
