Role Description
You will be leading a squad of operatives on various contracts ensuring the the following activity's are carried out
§ To have a full knowledge of all areas of work to be covered in the course of duty.
§ To Ensure that the correct equipment and paperwork have been taken to sites
§ Ensure all Paperwork is signed and returned to office
§ To ensure that only correct materials and equipment are used on site and for the correct purpose.
§ To ensure that the required standards are achieved at all times.
§ To always attempt to improve on existing standards of work.
§ To perform any other reasonable duties as required by your Manager.
§ To ensure that all equipment are kept clean and locked when not in use.
§ Follow all instructions laid down in the schedule of work or as requested by your Manager.
§ To attend appropriate training sessions to update knowledge of equipment, materials and procedures.
§ To attend every shift in a presentable and hygienic state.
§ To keep uniform and P.P.E. in an acceptable manner.
§ To perform other duties as required by your Manager.
§ All accidents and near misses are reported within a timely manner and through relevant channels to your Manager
§ To participate in the delivery of the industrial industries development of best practice and continuous improvement initiatives
* To be polite, friendly and helpful at all times.
* To visually and verbally recognize the client in a pleasant manner.
* To take and pass on messages accurately.
* To act upon client comments / requests in line with company policy.
* To advise your Line Manager of any opportunity that you believe could increase the contract.
* To inform your Line Manager of any opportunities to increase sales for the company.
* To be prepared at all times to assist your colleagues and move from one activity to another within your overall remit.
* To pro-actively look to recommend improvements to your work processes by providing suggestions and solutions.
* To be responsive to the need to work extended hours and also weekends when requested.
* To be friendly, pleasant and polite to your work colleagues
* To demonstrate a willing and positive manner.
* To communicate effectively with all team members and participate in all contract activities.
* To make sure you meet the legal, company and client regulations for fire, health, safety and the environment.
* To look out for any problems with the above, reporting them as appropriate to your manager.
* To report full details of all accidents and near misses.
* To attend every shift in a presentable and hygienic state.
* To keep uniform and PPE in an acceptable manner.
* To ensure that all equipment are kept clean and that equipment and materials are locked away when not in use.
* Compliance with all risk assessments and task procedures
* To ensure all equipment being used is in a safe condition, if not then this must be reported.
* Always work in a safe manner, using warning signs when appropriate.
* Notify the management if for any reason you are unable to attend
* To arrive punctually for every shift
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
