Overview
Lugwardine Primary Academy serves a catchment based around the villages of Bartestree and Lugwardine. Located within Bartestree, the school is on a housing estate with easy access to fields and farmland. We are a fully inclusive school with happy and enthusiastic children, highly motivated staff and a supportive Governing Body. Lugwardine Primary Academy wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, well-motivated and dedicated cleaner to work alongside and under the direction of the Caretaker.
Responsibilities
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the school and ensure a safe, pleasant environment for pupils and staff.
* Apply a thorough approach to cleaning and the storage of cleaning materials.
* Work effectively with other cleaning staff and managers and be a reliable team member.
* Demonstrate good timekeeping and reliability.
* Support the ethos of the school through professional conduct and standards.
* Possess previous cleaning experience; visits to the school by prior appointment are welcomed.
Qualifications and Requirements
* An understanding and perception of the need for a high standard of cleanliness in schools.
* A commitment to providing a clean and pleasant environment for pupils and staff.
* Ability to work in support of the school ethos.
* Previous cleaning experience is desirable.
