Senior Strategy Consultant - Credit Cards/Banking
We are seeking a senior Strategy Support Manager to work closely with the Head of Cards Strategy, providing high-quality strategic, commercial, and governance support across key cards initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone with a consulting or strategy background who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident operating at senior stakeholder level, and can independently drive complex workstreams from concept through delivery.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct strategic support to the Head of Cards Strategy, including development of senior-level papers, presentations, and recommendations for executive forums
* Lead and coordinate governance processes underpinning cards initiatives, including:
* Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
* Cards management and governance forums
* Own end-to-end project coordination across multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment, pace, and delivery against strategic priorities
* Translate strategic objectives into clear actions, requirements, and deliverables for teams across the bank
* Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations for senior management, committees, and governance bodies
* Act as a central point of coordination, ensuring consistent messaging, decision tracking, and follow-through
Required Experience & Skills
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess, articulate, and support strategic decisions
* Experience working in consulting, strategy, or a similar advisory role, ideally within financial services or payments
* Comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level, with the confidence to challenge, influence, and communicate clearly
* Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and maintain momentum without close supervision
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong track record of producing executive-level materials
* High energy, resilient, and able to operate at pace across multiple priorities
