To be a Group business partner for our Modern retail/FMCG businesses, primarily for Retail sor FMCG in creating value, including developing business strategy, implementing strategic initiatives and supporting the achievement of KPIs
To be sufficiently senior, experienced, mature businessperson, able to work directly with business BOM as well as leading/advising transactions and operating (commercial, marketing, logistic etc.) teams at businesses, when necessary.
I. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Strategy Formation & Value Creation
* Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies aligned with WCM/Masan Consumer goals, customer needs, market trends.
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. Use insights to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth.
Strategy Execution Follow up & Operational Alignment
* Follow up the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and alignment with business objectives.
* To work with business BOM and operating teams on various initiatives to drive operating performance of Masan’s consumer-branded businesses and deliver on future growth drivers
* To collaborate with commercial, marketing, logistics and store operations teams to ensure strategy-to-execution alignment.
Strategic Transactions & Business Expansion
* To lead or support M&A, due diligent activities or strategic partnerships.
* Lead capital raising efforts to secure funding from investors, venture capitalists, and financial institutions. Collaborate with the executive team to align capital raising goals with strategic objectives.
* Foster strong relationships with investors, partners, and other stakeholders to secure ongoing support and investment.
Performance Metrics & Strategic Reporting
* Participate in defining, monitoring, and reviewing KPIs for each strategic initiative. Act as a Group-level extension to ensure KPIs are delivered on track.
* To monitor and report to CEO and S&D head on business and strategic progress

II. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS,& REQUIREMENTS
* Seasoned mid-level professional to C-suite level executive with at least 7- 10 years of industry experience as an advisor/operator in retail/FMCG fields with leading brands in Vietnam and APAC region.
* Proven experience in M&A, partnerships, capex projects, and running and improving retail/manufacturing operations.
* Strong entrepreneur mindset: ability to identify growth opportunities, take calculated risks, and turn ideas into tangible results in a manufacturing context
* Hands-on advisor/operator, willing to spend most of their time with operating teams, on the field to garner insights and implement projects.
* Strong passion for consumer-branded businesses, strong drive and ambition to lead business/its divisions if called upon by BOM/BOD at appropriate moment in time.
* Experience with tech and digital transformation
