As an Operations Controller within our Logistics team, you will drive both hands-on and strategic improvements that enhance warehouse and logistics performance. You will act as the operational point of contact for offsite storage providers, support stock control processes, and lead improvement initiatives across warehousing operations.
With a strong focus on data, quality, and collaboration, you will play a key role in ensuring materials flow efficiently to support production and customer delivery.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Act as the operational lead for logistics activities, including coordination with third-party warehousing providers.
2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations, stock flow, and transportation.
3. Own stock control processes, including annual stock takes, discrepancy investigations, and inventory accuracy.
4. Optimise warehouse space and storage strategies to improve efficiency and support business growth.
5. Champion the effective use of digital tools such as SAP and reporting platforms to enhance visibility and performance.
6. Monitor logistics KPIs, identifying risks to quality, cost, and delivery and implementing corrective actions.
What You Bring
7. Experience in logistics, warehousing, or stock control within a manufacturing or operational environment.
8. Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse processes.
9. Experience using SAP or warehouse management systems, with good Microsoft Office capability.
10. Confidence working with data, reporting, and performance metrics.
11. Understanding of quality standards and EHS requirements within logistics operations.
12. Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration.
