Overview
EKFB is a joint venture bringing together international, market leading expertise from four civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. We are looking for a Traffic Manager to join our Logistics and Security team at the Greatworth to Southam section of works. The role focuses on the safe and efficient delivery of Temporary Traffic Management across this HS2 project section.
Responsibilities
* Provide guidance on all matters relating to temporary traffic management, ensuring design compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
* Support the maintenance of the Highways Consents Register and investigate incidents involving HS2 LGVs or within temporary traffic management areas.
* Manage all aspects of Highways Consents and submit consents to the Street Manager. Ensure Local Traffic Management Plans are adhered to and advise delivery teams on transport and temporary traffic management matters.
* Ensure compliance with the Act regarding temporary highways consents. Control and reduce operating costs, providing specialist knowledge related to temporary traffic management.
* Assist in consenting approvals for breaks from highway and PROW closures; advise on best design at site access and egress points.
* Add value to the team through experience and forward thinking; bring experience in one or more of the following areas to reinforce the delivery of Temporary Traffic Management: managerial experience of TTM on major infrastructure projects; training in Temporary Traffic Management design; extensive knowledge of published guidance and regulations onTraffic Management.
Qualifications / Experience
* Managerial experience of Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) on major infrastructure projects.
* Training in Temporary Traffic Management design.
* Extensive knowledge of all published guidance and regulations on Traffic Management.

EKFB is appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.
