National Account Manager
Manage and grow a portfolio of key national accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction
and long-term retention.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK within the corrugated
packaging sector.
Lead the development of customer forecasts, pricing proposals, and account strategies in
collaboration with internal departments.
Build strong, multi-level relationships within merchant/trade customer organisations.
Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and planning teams to deliver tailored
solutions for customer needs.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing regular performance analysis to
support account growth.
Act as the central point of contact for strategic accounts and ensure alignment with the wider
business strategy.
Skills and experience required
· Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
· Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence decision-makers.
· Confident using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret customer and market data to drive
performance.
· Strong organisational and communication skills.
· Self-motivated and able to manage workload independently
Experience:
· Proven success within the corrugated packaging industry (essential).
· Experience dealing with large merchant/trade customers with complex, multi-
contact structures (preferred).
· Track record of delivering growth through strategic planning and execution.
