4. Providing specialist advice and support to patients during Flexible Cystoscopy and other diagnostic procedures (e.g., urodynamic studies, prostate biopsies (LAPPB), venepuncture).
5. Supporting nurse-led bladder intravesical therapy clinics.
6. Making appropriate referrals to other health professionals.
7. Providing a telephone resource for patients, district nurses, and GPs.
8. Making referrals to district nurses and the Continence Prescription Service.
The successful candidate will be based at the Princess of Wales Hospital but will be required to work across all sites as needed.
We seek an innovative individual who is a team player, possesses excellent assessment, management, and communication skills, and is willing to learn and adapt within a dynamic environment. The candidate will be expected to deliver clinical excellence within the Urology team.
Responsibilities include supporting and assisting in various clinics, conducting nurse-led clinics once trained, supporting Consultant outpatient clinics, and assisting with procedures such as Flexible Cystoscopies, Urodynamic Studies, and Prostate Biopsies.
