There is significant travel requirement throughout the UK&I in order to lead your team and deliver to our partners and customers. Responsibilities You will take an active role in sharing learnings and best practice within Training & Academy with peers, across the region and with the wider VELUX group functions. Your main tasks will be to: Build and maintain a high performing team of Trainers by ensuring that we have the right people in the right place with the right skill set Identify business opportunities through your in-depth knowledge of our product, customer and partner needs Act as a leadership role model in the business and create a best in class standard for the Trainer team Ensure the team have the right tools and training to maximise the potential of every customer interaction and where appropriate create the opportunities to increase sales Promote collaborative work with other teams and departments to optimise resources and ways of working – in particular our Sales and Customer Operations teams. Who we are looking for The ideal candidate will have a relevant technical background, preferably a trade qualification or similar combined with demonstrated experience leading, coaching and training others. As a person, you have a constructive mindset and a pragmatic, agile and holistic approach. You have excellent interpersonal skills, are collaborative by nature, and can communicate and develop relationships with stakeholders (both internals and externals) across multiple levels. Furthermore, you: Have technical / product flair - and it would be an added benefit if you have experience from the roofing/building industry Have experience dealing with customers / partners (B2B) Have experience working in a process driven environment and highly data-driven Are fluent in English, verbally and in writing Have a full driving license.
