You may need to step in at other locations as needed—for events, leave cover, or emergencies. Key Responsibilities Supervise and liaise with external contractors (cleaning, maintenance, grounds, catering) Support centre operations: porterage, deliveries, event setup, exam room configurations Monitor and manage stock levels (cleaning and maintenance supplies) Act as a qualified First Aider (or willingness to train) Oversee Health & Safety compliance: PAT testing, fire drills, statutory inspections, hazard patrols Perform reactive and planned maintenance, cleaning duties, emergency cleaning Carry and respond via two‑way radio; participate in emergency call‑out rota Unlock/lock rooms/premises as required, support security where needed Assist with external lettings and post-event realignment Other tasks aligned with the role and team’s needs Person Specification Essential Qualifications & Experience GCSE (or equivalent) Level 2 in English and Maths (Grade A‑C) First Aid certification, or willingness to train Experience working in busy team environments and undertaking maintenance tasks Experience supervising contractors and managing stock Cleaning, porterage, office moves, general caretaking duties Skills & Abilities Computer literate (Outlook, Word, Excel) Flexible, team‑orientated, able to prioritise under pressure Strong organisation, multi‑tasking, workload management Good verbal and written communication Health, Safety, Equality & Diversity awareness Next Steps Once you’ve applied, one of our friendly further education consultants will give you a call to discuss this opportunity.
