Engineering Lecturer
Location: Hull with travel to Grimsby & Scunthorpe
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering training provider who is seeking an Engineering Lecturer to inspire and mentor the next generation of engineers.
Salary: £40,990–£43,402 (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:15, Friday 08:00–16:00
Annual Leave: 42 days (including bank holidays)

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to deliver hands-on Level 3, 4, and 5 engineering apprenticeships and upskilling programmes across multiple sites. You will:
Deliver engaging classroom-based sessions in:
Mechanical Principles & Engineering Maths
Engineering Science & Design
Fluid Mechanics & CAD
Health & Safety & Lean Manufacturing
Professional Engineering Management
Production Engineering
Quality & Process Improvements
Supervise Level 3 & 4 engineering projects and Level 5 research projects
Mentor and support apprentices and adult learners to achieve their potentialTeaching experience is not required. Candidates without a teaching qualification will be expected to complete a CertEd or PGCE, which will be funded and supported by the organisation, but completed in your own time.
Candidate Requirements
Degree in engineering or related field (essential)
Significant industry experience in engineering
Strong technical, IT, and practical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for teaching and developing others
Full driving licence and access to own vehicle (required for travel between Hull, Grimsby, and Scunthorpe)
