Company Profile: An opportunity has arisen for a Plumbers Mate to join to join a contractor company, where you will be required to travel to various locations around the UK. The Plumbers Mate will assist with boiler, plumbing & draining installations and repairs for both commercial and domestic properties. You must have a full UK driving licence to apply for this role. Job Description for the Plumbers Mate: Assist the wider team to identify plumbing faults and find appropriate solutions. Develop skills and knowledge of industry best practice. Support with daily maintenance, servicing and repairs of plumbing systems and fixtures. Responsible for protecting client properties while on site. Work in compliance with current regulations and standards. Source materials with a focus on value and cost efficiency. Maintain required training and certificates relevant to your role. Complete all job-related paperwork and ensure prompt submission to the office. Ensure company assets, including vehicle, tools and uniforms where supplied, are used safely and maintain maintained to ensure cleanliness and safe working order. Follow all company policies, procedures and health & safety requirement. Candidate Requirements for the Plumbers Mate: Enhanced DBS will be required to be complete for this role. Minimum 1 year experience working in a commercial plumbing role. A strong understanding of health and safety requirements A candidate who is motivated to succeed with strong attention to detail. Flexibility: This role will require travel across multiple sites within the West Midlands as well as occasional travel to other areas in the UK. Availability to work additional hours beyond contracted hours, when necessary, with overtime paid accordingly. Maintain a professional, positive, and customer-focused approach when dealing with clients and colleagues. Self-driven, organised, and eager to develop skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to undertake further training/development as required Confident communication skills and ability to interact with other members of the public. Full UK (clean) driving Licence is essential.
