A well-established, independently owned accountancy practice in Preston is looking to appoint an experienced Accountant to join their close-knit team. The Role
* Managing a portfolio of clients
* Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
* Bookkeeping and VAT returns
* Preparing basic personal and corporate tax returns
* Liaising directly with clients and handling queries
* Supporting the wider team and office operations
The Ideal Candidate
* Strong experience working within an accountancy practice
* Confident preparing accounts, VAT and bookkeeping
* Experience with software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and Excel
* Comfortable managing client relationships
* Reliable, personable and looking for a long-term move
