About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of primary schools in the Chigwell area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in children’s education by supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
2. Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis with pupils
3. Assist in preparing classroom materials and resources
4. Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
5. Support children with additional needs where required
6. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
7. Previous experience working with children (in a school or similar setting preferred)
8. A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
9. Strong communication and teamwork skills
10. Basic understanding of the primary curriculum is desirable
11. Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA) are an advantage but not essential
