The Opportunity Meraki Talent is seeking an experienced Head of Compliance – Recruitment to establish and lead our Compliance recruitment offering from our London office. This is a senior 360 recruitment role suited to a proven biller with deep market expertise and an established network across financial services. The successful individual will take ownership of building and scaling the compliance recruitment desk while working closely with our broader Financial Services practice. You will focus on delivering high-impact hires across: Banking & Capital Markets Asset & Wealth Management FinTech Savings & Investments Platforms and Financial Services Technology The role offers the opportunity to build a market-leading desk, leveraging existing Preferred Supplier Lists (PSLs) while also driving new client acquisition and strategic partnerships. Key Responsibilities Build and Lead the Compliance Recruitment Practice Develop and grow Meraki Talent’s Compliance recruitment offering within the London market. Position Meraki as a trusted talent partner for regulatory, financial crime, and governance hiring. Deliver High-Value 360 Recruitment Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across senior and specialist compliance roles. Lead retained and contingent search assignments for clients across financial services. Build long-term relationships with senior candidates and hiring managers. Business Development & Client Growth Identify and secure new client relationships across banking, asset & wealth management, fintech, and investment platforms. Expand existing client relationships and maximise opportunities through PSL agreements. Act as a strategic advisor to clients, providing market intelligence and hiring insights. Market Leadership Build a strong network of senior compliance professionals across the UK market. Stay ahead of regulatory developments impacting hiring demand. Represent Meraki Talent within industry networks and events. What We’re Looking For: Proven Recruitment Expertise Demonstrable success as a high-performing 360 recruiter within financial services or regulatory recruitment. Track record as a senior biller with consistent revenue delivery. Experience recruiting across compliance, regulatory, or financial crime disciplines. Market Knowledge Strong understanding of hiring trends across: Banking Asset & Wealth Management FinTech Savings & Investments Established client and candidate networks within the compliance market.
