The role
Based in our Global Sales Office in London, this role will be responsible for driving revenue growth across all our hotels by overseeing various market segments, including tour operators in the UK and Ireland.
Responsibilities
* Represent a group of hotels in the UK market
* Acquire and develop accounts within the UK to achieve agreed goals for participating hotels.
* Drive sales through consistent sales calls to ensure high brand awareness and efficient account servicing.
* Negotiate hotel/company contracts including, but not limited to, override agreements and performance incentives
* Manage total expenditure: Create annual expense budget and spending within the budgeted expenses
* Coordinate sales events including assisting with the planning and execution of road shows, sales missions and hotel sales calls.
* Propose any events participation suitable for participating hotels
* Organise client events such as product trainings necessary
* Update all sales activities in the company's Delphi.fdc database accurately and promptly
* Provide intelligence of the marketplace covering tourism updates as well as the competitive environment
Requirements
* Bachelor Degree with minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality sales
* Leadership experience
* Results orientation with competency in soliciting business to capitalize sales and revenue opportunities
* Good contact with industry leaders
* Strong customer service mindset
* Excellent understanding of Singapore and SEA Corporate, Leisure and Meetings & Incentive market
