Are you a Secondary History Teacher looking for a new and rewarding teaching opportunity in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire? - Tradewind are excited to be supporting an Ofsted 'Outstanding' Secondary School seeking a knowledgeable and engaging History Teacher to join their Humanities department this September 2025.
The school is known for its supportive leadership, inclusive ethos, and commitment to academic excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced History Teacher or a strong subject-specialist Instructor/Tutor looking to transition into a full-time teaching role.
Role Overview:
Deliver well-structured History lessons across KS3-KS4 (potential for KS5)
Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic performance
Participate in department planning and whole-school events
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities within Humanities
Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership
Role Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
History and/or Teaching related degree
Previous experience teaching History in a secondary school setting
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for History
Strong classroom management and communication skills
