Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £200 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are inviting applications for a Geography Teacher to join schools across the Rotherham area, covering the S65 and S66 postcodes, delivering lessons that engage students in both physical and human geography.
As a Geography Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that encourage pupils to investigate the planet, analyse data, and understand global issues while fostering critical thinking and curiosity.
Prime Responsibilities:
* Teach geography through clear, engaging, and structured lessons.
* Support pupils in developing map skills, data interpretation, and research abilities.
* Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their knowledge and understanding.
* Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a productive classroom.
* Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and enrichment activities.
* Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering as a Geography Teacher.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
* A commitment to supporting learners of all abilities.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A responsible and professional approach to safeguarding.
