We are working with a welcoming secondary school in North Tyneside to recruit a Cover Supervisor to provide classroom supervision across KS3 and KS4. This role is ideal for someone confident leading a classroom and supporting behaviour while delivering pre-set work in the absence of teaching staff.
The school has clear behaviour systems in place and a supportive leadership team, making this a strong environment for both experienced cover supervisors and those looking to gain classroom experience.

About the role
1. Supervise whole classes during teacher absence
2. Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure pupils remain on task
3. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
4. Support pupils with questions and engagement during lessons
5. Liaise with teaching and pastoral staff as needed
