A manufacturing organisation in Coventry is seeking an experienced Engineering Administrator to join their Engineering team on a fixed-term contract. This position plays a key role in maintaining engineering stock levels, coordinating purchasing activity, and ensuring the smooth flow of parts required to support production.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor stock levels and reorder parts when inventory reaches minimum thresholds.
* Manage the receipt, put-away, and accurate logging of goods within SAP.
* Raise purchase requisitions and purchase orders, securing the required approvals.
* Update cost and budget tracking sheets with accurate financial information.
* Coordinate the movement of engineering repairs to external contractors.
* File delivery notes, track shipments, and ensure parts arrive in line with operational deadlines.
* Support and oversee inventory audits, maintaining up-to-date reports on stock, pricing, and purchasing.
* Maintain organised stores areas in line with min/max requirements and 5S standards.
* Ensure accurate documentation, inventory records, and transaction reporting.
Requirements:
* GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
* Strong numeracy, computer literacy, and basic accounting capability.
* Confident communicator with fluent English.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Engineering knowledge is an advantage.
* Previous experience in a similar engineering stores, stock control, or procurement support role.
* Experience within a manufacturing or automated production environment is highly desirable.
