We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurture Teaching Assistant to join our Primary School and support the emotional, social, and academic development of pupils within our nurture provision. Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions in a small-group nurture setting.
* Support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, helping them build confidence and resilience.
* Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities that promote positive relationships and learning.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
* Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
About You
* Experience working with children with additional needs (desirable but not essential).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm, patient, and positive in challenging situations.
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s wellbeing and learning.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) or willingness to train.
