As the new Engineering & Hygiene Manager on the night shift, you will develop a high-performance hygiene culture and drive engineering excellence.
The Role
* Oversee all night shift engineering activities, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient plant performance.
* Lead hygiene strategy, ensuring audit-ready standards across high-care, low-risk, and external areas.
* Manage validation and verification processes, including ATP testing, allergen controls, and swabbing.
* Act as the senior escalation point for technical, hygiene, and emergency decisions.
* Promote a culture of safety, ownership, and high performance across diverse teams.
* Monitor and improve KPI performance related to hygiene and engineering.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise chemical usage, cleaning techniques, and equipment reliability.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
* Leadership experience in hygiene, engineering, or both.
* Experience in food manufacturing environments.
