An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Flooring Customer Care Fitter to join a growing and well-established specialist flooring contractor operating across the North East.
Working with some of the UK’s largest house builders, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality remedial and customer care works across new build residential developments.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, working independently, and delivering excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

The role
You will:
* Carry out customer care remedial works across a range of flooring types
* Liaise with the Customer Care team to coordinate and complete remedial visits
* Conduct site visits to assess reported flooring issues and determine solutions
* Complete remedial works within agreed timescales
* Communicate professionally with homeowners, clients, and internal teams
* Provide technical advice relating to flooring products and maintenance
* Maintain accurate records and updates on customer care cases
* Work closely with operational and site teams to ensure smooth delivery of works
What we’re looking for
* Experience fitting a variety of flooring types including Carpet, LVT, Vinyl, Safety Flooring, and Sub‑Floor Preparation
* Strong knowledge of flooring products and installation methods
* Experience working on residential developments or large‑scale construction projects preferred
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities
* Professional and solution‑focused approach
* Good attention to detail and quality standards
* Full UK driving licence required
* CSCS card and relevant flooring qualifications beneficial
