The Role:
* Opportunity for a values-driven and inspiring Non-Executive Director to join the Trust Board, providing oversight, governance, leadership, and scrutiny as part of a cohesive and dynamic Unitary Board.
* Chair our Finance, Investment & Performance Committee.
You:
* Strategic finance leader with Board-level or equivalent experience gained in complex, changing, and multi-stakeholder environments .
* A proven track record of driving financial improvement, performance measurement, and robust governance.
* Able to demonstrate compassion for our staff and the communities we serve.
* Commercial experience; this could be in the private, public or third sectors and it's important to note that no prior experience of the NHS is needed.
* Able to promote the highest standards of integrity and corporate governance.
* Offer independent challenge and support.
* Role model our values of Kindness, Respect, Ambition, and Collaboration.
* Contribute to all aspects of the board agenda, bringing a breadth of perspective and the ability to understand complex strategic issues.
